Lorianne's Sippy Cup with Weighted Straw Review! January 04, 2016 14:08
Our family reviewed the Kidsme Straw Sippy Cup with Weighted Straw over the holidays and I have to say it is one of the best straw cups in the market. We have tried other brands and found that they either leak, the straw doesn't catch all the liquid at the bottom, or there are too many pieces to the straw attachment.
The straw cup comes with the cup, lid and two pieces to the straw. The straw was very easy to put together and we were impressed with how sturdy the cup and straw were. We mostly fill our sippy cups with water but we did use it with milk and apple juice. On occasion, our 1 year old used it with dinner and I was amazed at how stain resistant the straw was. It even stood up to the tough stains of pizza and spaghetti sauce.
We were also amazed at how durable this cup is. Our son dropped it a few times while playing in the park, in our backyard and on our hardwood floors and it didn't even scratch it. As a mom, I especially liked how large the cup is and how much liquid it can hold. The cup itself is slightly heavier than other sippy cups in the market but it is extremely durable.
The weighted straw feature and built in handles makes using the cup at any angle easy for little ones. I especially love the fact that it is 100% leak proof and it has a flip top to keep the straw clean. Both my 14 month old and my 3 year old love the Kidsme Straw Sippy Cup with Weighted Straw. Whether they were running around at the park, playing in the backyard, or sitting on the couch watching a TV show, this cup was perfect.
The Kidsme Straw Sippy Cup with weighted straw comes in blue, purple/pink, and green/yellow. It is a definite must-have for little ones.
Lorianne's My Turn Spoon and Fork Set Review - UPDATE! September 21, 2015 12:55
Thanks to the Kidsme My Turn Spoon, our 11 month old can feed himself. We started giving it to him to hold during dinner time at 7 months. He didn't quite know what to do with it but over the last month he has done amazing with it. We scoop yogurt or his oatmeal mixture on the My Turn Spoon, he reaches his hand out to grab it then puts it to him mouth and eats it. The handle shape makes it easy for tiny hands to pick up and ergonomically use.
Lorianne's My Turn Spoon and Fork Set Review! June 10, 2015 12:30
We reviewed the Kidsme My Turn Spoon and Fork Trainer set with our 8 month old. At first, I thought it would be like any other spoon and fork trainer set but it is so much more than that.
The spoon and fork measure about 3 inches and is ergonomically designed - perfect for little hands. It is recommended for ages 6 months and up. We tried it with our 8 month old and he wasn't quite sure what to do with the spoon but he was able to easily grasp it and hold on to it. He is not quite ready to feed himself but I love how the Kidsme My Turn set encourages him to self-feed. He even gets help from his big brother who shows him how to use it with some blueberries.
The three color combinations make mealtime fun and exciting. They are the perfect size to help babies learn how to hold the spoon and fork correctly. I would definitely recommend the Kidsme My Turn Spoon and Fork Trainer set.
Lorianne's Food Feeder Review! April 30, 2015 13:34
As a new parent, it is hard to determine which baby products are a necessity and which are just nice to look at...well, I can say that after two kids the Kidsme Food Feeder has been one of our top ten baby (and toddler) essentials!
We learned about the Food Feeder from one of my mommy friends. I asked for tips to help with teething on Facebook...and I'm so glad I did. The Kidsme Food Feeder is great not only for teething but also provides a fun vessel for snacking. The handles make it easy for little fingers to hold at an early age. Our boys were able to start holding it around 4 months! I started with breastmilksicles! Yes, I said it...breastmilksicles! I filled the ice cube tray (about 1/3 full in each cube fits the large feeder) with breastmilk and voila...a perfect and natural solution for achy gums.
When our boys started solids, I put everything from watermelon, avocado, grapes, bananas, blueberries, and peas. It's a great treat and keeps baby busy while I am preparing dinner.
It is also the perfect summertime snack. I love freezing fresh berries or grapes and then popping them into the feeder for a sweet and delicious treat. I recently started making Greek yogurt fruitscicles. I mixed Greek yogurt with strawberries then put it in ice cube trays to freeze. Our boys love them! And I love that I am giving them a healthy treat without the added sugar of regular popsicles.
Okay, now the best part (at least for me anyways)...it is super easy to clean and I love that I can replace the silicone sac. Since our baby started solids we even keep one in the diaper bag...we seriously take this with us everywhere!
I'm so thankful my friend recommended the Kidsme Food Feeder to us. After two kids I can truly appreciate products that make my life easier and that my kids like to use.
Meet Lorianne! April 14, 2015 10:42
I'm a mom of two little boys. Life can definitely be hectic with two children, both under two, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. When we are not at Disneyland, traveling or exploring sunny Southern California, we love spending time with our family and friends. I would love to connect more with you on Instagram at @loribori808.
I found out about Kidsme through one of my high school friends on Facebook and I can't tell you how much we love the Kidsme Food Feeder. We first started using it with our 2 year old when he was 6 months. I made breastmilksicles to help with teething. We welcomed baby #2 last year and have already started using it with him. We love putting frozen fruits, avocado, banana, apples...pretty much any fruit or vegetable that can fit, we try it! I love how easy it is to clean and especially how you can easily replace the silicone feeder. The handles make it easy for little fingers to grip.
