Recipe: Winter Harvest Squash May 11, 2015 13:10

These tasty squashes are high vitamin A, C, and potassium. They both have calcium as well and can be served in chunks or make a great, smooth puree. Toss in some nutmeg to vary the flavor.

Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

    • Acorn Squash
    • Butternut Squash
    • Nutmeg (optional)

Cooking Directions

    1. Cut open the squash, remove the seeds, and prepare how you wish.
    2. Allow to cool to desired temperature.
    3. Cut the squash into pieces or puree.
    4. Add them to the Feeder with nutmeg if desired.
