Recipe: Winter Harvest Squash May 11, 2015 13:10
These tasty squashes are high vitamin A, C, and potassium. They both have calcium as well and can be served in chunks or make a great, smooth puree. Toss in some nutmeg to vary the flavor.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Total time: 20 minutes
- Acorn Squash
- Butternut Squash
- Nutmeg (optional)
- Cut open the squash, remove the seeds, and prepare how you wish.
- Allow to cool to desired temperature.
- Cut the squash into pieces or puree.
- Add them to the Feeder with nutmeg if desired.
